Local storage
Local storage on your device remembers your cart, the fact that you have already seen our information banner, a few security protections, and two advertising measurement identifiers, a visitor id and a click id, both written as soon as you arrive on the site. The cart and the security protections cannot be turned off without breaking functions the store needs.
What we measure
We measure page views, product pages viewed, items added to the cart, checkouts started and orders completed. This measurement starts as soon as you arrive, for every visitor, without any action from you. Our banner is there to tell you, not to ask permission, and closing it does not change the measurement.
Meta advertising
The Meta Pixel uses the _fbp identifier and, after a click on one of our ads, _fbc. These can be kept for up to 90 days. The same events are also sent from our server through the Conversions API with a shared event id, so Meta can remove the duplicate copies. Amounts, products and purchases come from the order system, and a server-side purchase event is only created once Stripe confirms the payment.
Limiting or clearing these trackers
You stay in control from your browser: block third party cookies, clear cookies and local storage for this site, browse privately, or use an ad blocking extension. You can also turn off personalized advertising in your Meta account settings. To ask us for access, deletion or an objection, write to our support team, whose address is in the footer.
