180 days from delivery
You can ask to return an eligible item within 180 calendar days of delivery. Send your request to support@openboxhome.com, or through the return request form, with your order number and the item concerned, before those 180 days are up.
Once we confirm the request, send the item back within 14 days of our instructions.
Free return shipping
The return costs you nothing. Open Box Home pays the return shipping for the whole 180 days, whether the item is faulty or you simply changed your mind. There is no restocking fee and nothing to pay up front.
Write to support@openboxhome.com with your order number and we email you a prepaid return label and the address to use. Please wait for that label before you ship anything, so the parcel reaches the right place and we can match it to your order.
Condition of the returned item
Send the item back complete, clean and properly protected, with the accessories, manuals and parts it came with. You are free to unpack it and try it the way you would in a store. An item damaged by use well beyond that check, or returned with parts missing, may be refunded in part.
Your refund
Your refund is issued within 14 days of us receiving and inspecting the item. It goes back to the original payment method, and your bank usually shows it a few days after that. It covers the price you paid, including any standard shipping you were charged. We email you the moment it is sent.
Faulty or not as described
Tell us as soon as you notice, with photos or a short video if that helps the diagnosis. We arrange a replacement or a refund and we cover the return shipping. Write to support@openboxhome.com with your order number.
Manufacturer’s warranty
Every item is unused, so it carries the manufacturer’s own warranty, exactly as it would if you had bought it in a store. The length and the terms are set by the manufacturer and are stated in the paperwork inside the box. We do not add to that warranty and we do not take anything away from it. To make a claim, contact the manufacturer directly. If you cannot find how, write to us and we will point you to the right service.
